Flocculants

Organic flocculants are widely used for many waste water, drinking water, polluted liquids treatment. Also dewatering of variuous sludges is almost impossible without flocculants usage.

Flocculants can be solid or liquid.

Normally flocculants are used in variuous application:

  • Sludge thickening
  • Sludge dewatering
  • Effluent treatment

We propose Unafloc range products which are anionic or cationic, low-medium-high molecular weight.

Applications area can be very wide and flocculants are used in :

  • Dredging
  • Variuous sludge dewatering
  • Drinking water treatment
  • Industrial polluted waters treatment
  • Sludge thickening in various processes

Antifoamers

During wastewater treatment, foaming may occur when surfactants are present on the surface

Thus, wastewater can be divided into 3 types, depending on its source:

(a) Industry: high-foaming “synthetics” such as from detergents, soaps, emulsifiers, disinfectants, etc.

b) Industry: foam stabilizing “natural” materials such as starch, protein, fiber, cellulose and other long chain polymers.

c) Municipal: very dilute mixtures of surfactants. Also composted sludge, which contains less active foaming agents. Foam

occurs wherever air enters or gasses the wastewater. By reducing the free fall of liquid from pipes or

partitions etc. reduces slight aeration, but the nature of certain processes inevitably creates conditions for the formation of foam,

which may require control or suppression

Demulsifiers

Oil separation by gravity plays important role in ports or oil refineries. Heated tower separators are usually used. When oil emulsion is stable even after long time heating it is difficult to achieve good results: oil separation is poor and oil fraction contains a lot of water. After addition selected emulsion breaker, gravity separation goes much more quickly and efficiently.

Ecochemicals company consults, makes selection and offers the following products for gravity separators.

Usually stable oil emulsions can contain up to 40 -60 % of water. After adding Unafloc emulsion breaker it is possible achieve 5 to zero % water content in oil. 

 

Coagulants

Coagulants are first aid in chemical water treatment. They can be non-organic, organic or mixes of organic and non organic coagulants.

Coagulants can be solid or liquid.

It is possible to use coagulants for dissolved pollutants treatment, heavy metals, COD, BOD, phosphorus, etc. removal.

Coagulants mostly are used together with flocculents to ensure the best treatment result. 

Bentonite sorbents

We offer bentonite sorbents, which are used in many applications
areas such as drinking water treatment, industrial wastewater treatment,
for juices, beverages, food industry, wells.

Bentonites are in powder form.

It is a non-toxic product.

Bentonite sorbents effectively remove BOD, COD, dyes,
heavy metals, colloids, Cr removal, etc.

Special tools must be used for injection of bentonite solution
anti-abrasive pumps.

Lime inhibitors

Poliflock anti-limescale products prevent the formation of deposits from Ca, Mg, Fe, etc. of salts.

Poliflock anti-limescale agents work at pH above 6.5 at normal or high temperatures – up to 100 °C.

Poliflock prevents the formation of scale deposits at every stage of the production process, thus simultaneously preventing the formation of scale in many industrial processes.

The use of limescale protection is very simple: the product is added with a dosing pump, as is or as a 10% solution. The material should be added to the hard water or piping as early as possible so that it is mixed as effectively as possible throughout the volume.

For ease of use, limescale inhibitors are available as a stock liquid, or as a ready-made solution if needed.

Biopreparates

Bacterial products can help us significantly improve various wastewater treatment processes where common systems are not effective. The main purposes of bacterial products in wastewater treatment systems:

Anaerobic sludge and grease digesters
Increasing biogas production
Odor control, reduction of hydrogen sulfide (H2S) corrosion
